Choosing Right Category for Your Scrapbooking for Beginners & Seasoned

Are you new to scrapbooking or more experienced and don't quite understand how to choose or select a category for your scrapbooking project? Don't worry this is not a hard task to figure out.

Depending on what your photos are about is how you will decide which category your project will be going under.

First, of all it would be a good idea to have different albums for different categories. 

But if you can only afford to have one album at this time, that's ok. You can start with only one category. OR, you may even just create projects with a variety of categories to put into your one album. 

There are no rules whenever it comes to YOUR personal creativity, AMEN!

FOR MULTIPLE ALBUMS

This is just an example. Set aside an album for the following:

• Grandmother's birthday party.
• Nephew's birth.
• Baby baptizm.
• High school graduations.
• University graduations.
• PETS: Documenting special days or occasions of your pet(s).
• Regular walks to the beach, boardwalk, or park.
• Regular doctor's appointments where you are documenting progresses or milestones.
• HOBBIES: Woodworking projects – sewing – crafts – your personal fashion – car projects, etc.
• Overcoming obstacles

After the list I just gave you above, I think you now have a much better understanding of what categories are.

And just so that you know that it is not necessary to have as many as 10 albums in order to document your special moments. 

Simply, choose the moments in your life that are most important to you and start creating your scrapbooking projects and categories from there.

And so now that you have a much better idea for how to categorize your scrapbooking projects, you will be more at ease and relaxed as to where to begin. Now, start scrapbooking away!
