PROTECTING YOUR IMAGES
As a way to protect any images of photographs or graphics that were originally taken or created by YOU, it is important that you protect your work from any possible theft. You don't want anybody else to claim your images as their own.
If the images were taken by somebody else, it would be wise for those persons to protect their images from possible theft as well. Make sure that both you and the other person's images are protected BEFORE they are made public on the internet. Below is how you can protect your images.
COPYRIGHT SEAL
Acquire a copyright seal for your images for FREE. You may do so at the following website: COPYRIGHTED.COM
PRIVACY
To protect yourselves, loved ones, relatives, and friends from any potential harm, it is your responsibility to make sure that NO personal OR identifiable information appears ANYWHERE within the footage. This includes the following in the bulleted list below:
- Full name
- Place of residence
- Phone numbers
- Addresses, names, and phone number of schools whether for children or universities
- Social Insurance Number or in the U.S., Social Security number
- Driver's license
- Birth certificate
- Marriage license
- Passport number
- Visa information
- Bank account numbers and other related information
- Email addresses
- Social media accounts
- Name and address of place of employment
