Here is Mike feeding the children at breakfast. 

For those of you who don't know, Mike is the operator of an orphanage called The Heart of Praise Foundation Uganda. It is an orphanage located in Entebbe, Kampala, Uganda. Mike appears in the photo above helping to feed the kids for breakfast. The lady is one of the teachers.

Below is a message from Mike to you.

"Hello friends! I hope this message finds you well. I have some exciting news to share with all of you about an upcoming event that I am a part of.

This Christmas, we're organizing a wonderful celebration called the CHAPO FESTIVAL. The purpose of this festival is to bring joy and happiness to the lives of voiceless defenseless orphans and vulnerable children in our community.

We have set a goal to serve about 300 orphaned/vulnerable children to this incredible event, and we need your support to make it a memorable experience for them. On the 19th of December, which falls on a Tuesday, the CHAPO FESTIVAL will take place.

We have a lot of exciting activities planned for the children, including games, music, and mouth-watering meals. It's going to be a day filled with love, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas.

At this time, the foundation is requiring many things but due to a lack of funds they cannot fulfill those needs. Below is a bullet list of the things the foundation is needing at this time. Please give. Below will be the foundation's contact information so that you can give.

• Construction materials, equipment, and tools to construct a building for the foundation and houses for some of the children who do have families.
• Solar panels.
• Computers, lap tops.
• School: Desks, chairs, blackboards, chalk. Educational toys, writing books, pens, pencils, markers, colouring pencils, not toxic markers, mathematics sets. And nap sacks. Arts and crafts supplies.
• Vehicles to transport staff and children to and from field trips, doctors' clinics, hospitals, etc.
• Funds to start an income-generating project.
• Monthly sponsors for the children.
• Clothing for summer, winter, and spring. Coats, jackets, and sweaters. Raincoats, T-shirts pants, socks, shorts, skirts, and dresses. Shoes (running shoes and formal shoes), rainboots, and sandals. Baseball caps to shield from the sun. And toys for kids 0 to 13 years old.
• Bibles for 0 to 18 years old.
• Umbrellas, toiletries, cleaning supplies. 
• Kitchen: Fridge freezer, appliances, cuttlery, plates, bowls, eating tables and chairs, etc.
• Dining room: Tables chairs and sofas.
• Bedroom: Cribs and Beds and bedding.
• Teaching supplies and materials.
• Bibles for kids 0 to 18 years old.
• Girls' feminine hygiene products.
• Medical aid kits.
• Gardening tools, and seeds.
• Combs and hair accessories for the girls.
• Mike and the teachers: Please note that the kids are not the only ones who require financial aid but also those who are operating the foundation. Mike and the teachers are not doing well financially either. They too are in dire straights. They sacrifice themselves to help those who are less fortunate than themselves, therefore, I ask that you please sponsor Mike and the teachers so that they too can live a less stressful life as possible at this time as they work hard every day to help orphans. 

Furthermore, your financial help will enable the foundation to purchase everything in the bulleted list above.

Spreading The Word

Mike and his team regularly travel far to preach The Word of God to villagers who have never heard of The Word of God such as to muslim communities, as well as to villagers who do not have a local church and cannot afford to travel outside of their district to attend one.
