How to Make Money Blogging

Hi everyone, Nancy here. I just recently monetized my blog. The ads you are seeing on my site at this time are from Google AdSense.

I have a very small number of ads that belong to other networks but the majority are from Google's AdSense.

I wrote and then posted this article on September 21, 2022. Google ads have been running on my site since September 4, 2022.

It is still relatively early for my site to start generating any earnings, but it will eventually.

How I Ranked #1 On Google

Monetizing your blog will also depend on the type of traffic you are currently receiving. I will tell you more on how I ranked #1 on Google in a moment.

When you apply to Google's AdSense, they will also consider your daily traffic.

If Google considers your daily traffic as being too low, your application will most likely not be accepted.

I learned the current number of visitors Google considers as being too low is less than 80 visitors per day. Therefore, if your current number of daily visitors to your site is less than 80, you will probably not be accepted into the AdSense program.

Ranking #1 On Google: Before Google ads were running on my site, my traffic was well above 80 visitors per day. The actual numbers was not that much but still more than enough to qualify for Google's AdSense. I would say I was getting an average number of between 1235 to 1600 visitors per day. However, the moment I began ranking #1 on Google, my daily number shot up to around 65 thousand visitor per day.

Monetizing Your YouTube Channel With Google AdSense

If you do not currently have a blog website but you do have a YouTube channel, consider applying to Google's AdSense program for your channel.

If you do currently have a blog website as well as a YouTube channel, consider applying to Google's AdSense program for your channel.
