How Do You Describe Scrapbooking?

Very simply put, scrapbooking can be described as a manner or way of conserving your history through photos in photo albums. They are arranged or laid out in such a way where they are telling a story for any particular time that happened in your life or the lives of your family and friends.

For example, you can use photos of a wedding, birthday party, or of a special reunion that took place in your life to tell a story of what those moments meant to you. 

The albums can also be decorated with embellishments such as stickers, sparkly sprinkles, glittered ink, paint, ribbons, etc.. You may decorate your albums in whichever way that you like. They are YOUR stories, therefore, YOU choose how you want to reflect those special moments that happened in your life in your album.

Below is an example of a scrapbook layout. It is of a wedding. You will notice how all the photos are related to a wedding ceremony. You will also notice cartoon decorations. They too are related to the wedding. You will see things like ribbons, wedding rings, and bows.

And so now you have a much better understanding on the description for what scrapbooking is, and also what it is all about. And from what you can see, it is a very fun activity to do either on your own, or with your whole family.

You may even introduce scrapbooking as a special occasion that you and your family can get together to do on the weekends, or whenever your schedule permits. It will become a favourite and treasured pastime for yourself and all your loved ones.
