Clubs or Groups

For individuals or small groups, if you are interested in finding communities of scrapbooker clubs and groups, you may want to consider, MEET-UP.  

MEET-UP, is a place where you can find other people with the same interests as you. You will even have the option to start your own group there too. 

On MEET-UP, people arrange physical get-togethers with others in their local community to enjoy their shared interests. 

STAY SAFE!!

Meet-ups can be a lot of fun. A lot of people have created meaningful and long-lasting relationships through such platforms as MEET-UP, especially for those who have been experiencing loneliness for a while and, in some cases, their entire lives.

However, as much fun as socializing platforms can be, caution must still be applied. Just like you would not take a person that you just met off the street to your home, this very same level of caution must still be applied whenever you are meeting new people from a socializing platform. In the bulleted list below are a few tips you should follow.

• If you plan to meet in person with others you met on a platform like MEET-UP or any other platform for that matter, please, please, PLEASE make sure that you DO NOT go alone. Take someone with you. This is the first and most important thing that you must do.
• The second one is that the get-togethers NOT be held at the home of any of the people you are planning to meet. Instead, only agree to meet up if the get-togethers will be in public settings such as at a restaurant, a coffee place, a library, or even a park but not in a home.
• Also, do not have the get-togethers at your home or the home of the person who will be accompanying you either. No matter how fun and friendly these new people are towards you, you must still use caution by not disclosing where you live.

And by making sure that you and the person accompanying you follow the steps above, your get-togethers should be quite enjoyable every time.
