International Men's Day

Hi everyone, Nancy here. Have you ever heard of a day dedicated to men called International Men's Day? I haven't.

It was May 2, 2022 on the day that I was writing this, and I first heard of this particular day on the day before, May 1, 2022. I thought it was rather interesting how there is an actual day set apart to celebrate men in the same way as women are. As we know this day is called International Women's Day.

Guys, women get a lot of attention and recognition through special days like International Women's Day, Mothers' Day, and Valentine's Day. And it's about time men started to get the same level of recognition too. This is why I decided write a post about International Men's Day. I just wanted to do my little part in helping to bring some awareness to it.

SHOCKING

In my researh about International Men's Day I learned there is a tremendous amount of opposition for this day and it's mostly coming from women.

They say I.M.D. should not exist because everyday is men's day. I'm supposing they are referring to how men are considered more whenever it comes to things like jobs and so on. And yeah, I'm supposing this is true. But we can't be allowing the current status quo to keep us from honouring the men of this world either. Not every male in this entire world oppresses females. And it's not fair to not have a day set apart to celebrate them just because of the male oppressors who are in this world. SHEESH!

I don't know what you who are reading this feels about the opposition againts I.M.D.. But I don't really care what people with these types of views really think either. Look, people with these types of views are all men–hating bizzare weirdos!

We are all free to believe and celebrate whatever we want. And if there are certain things that bother us, we are more than FREE to just ignore those things and then move right along. AMEN.

During my research I also learned that males of all ages are celebrated not just grown men. So, little boys are celebrated too. They need to be included as well. We need to help make them feel just as special as we do little girls during the other special days throughout the year when women are celebrated.

Scrapbooking & International Men's Day

Pinterest literally has billions of ideas and instructional videos for you to choose from. They are not only a great resource for learning about scrapbooking, but also contain 1000's and 100's of 1000's of other types of activities for you to discover and learn about too. I learned something amazing about coconut oil and dental issues.

On pinterest I learned coconut oil cures cavities and several other dental conditions. Long–story short, I cured myself from cavities that were causing me terrible pain and only from using coconut oil.

If you are currently experiencing horrible and unbearable dental pain, look up coconut oil to treat dental pain on Pinterest and see what you might find. I used non-refined organic coconut oil to cure myself from dental issues. DISCLAIMER: I'm not a doctor so my suggestion to use coconut oil to treat dental pain was only a suggestion.
